Why do both Voyager and Phatty lack 1 OSC FREQ?
Why do both Voyager and Phatty lack 1 OSC FREQ?
On both synths not all Oscillators have Frequency control. Why is this?

from the voyager old school manual (p. 16): "Oscillator 1 performs as a master oscillator to which Oscillator 2 and 3 are tuned."MLPS2 wrote:On both synths not all Oscillators have Frequency control. Why is this?
if you really need to, use the FINE TUNE control if you need to change OSC 1's frequency...

I often wonder why they don't just put a logo there like they do on the RME, but the Mini didn't have one either.
Personally I think seeing the Moog logo displayed prominantly is a lacking feature of most of the gear that I own.

Actually, I kinda wish my phatty didn't have that huge moog sticker on the back, (if you want, I'll trade you Eric, you can have my phatty, with the huge sticker in exchange for your voyager). One of these days I may get around to painting it, in which case the sticker will be a more discreet "raised moog" under whatever a spray paint on top, maybe I should make a stencil of our good doctor. The bob moog foundation graphic looks easy enough. Maybe I'll put Bob on one side, and the alien who guided his research on the otherJust Me wrote:With something as iconic as a Moog, there is no need for a gaudy sticker!
