Hi Bruce,"Tension" was done on the model D and the Tascam is a 2488mk11.Regards and thanks for the comments Thanks for your reply. I wondered if you had used a 2488. I just got a new 2488MKII myself and it arrived yesterday. Your songs on myspace pretty well answer any questions about how...

Well, changes are just that.. changes. Some good some bad.

What I'm curious about is that there doesnt' seem to be any links to MoogSpace. Are they dropping it?

My bookmarked links still work -- but for how long?

Very nice, cageswood. Loved the lead on the "Tension in the Great Hall" -- the "wakey" style track. Tell me, was it a Model D or Voyager? haha.

On your myspace page you mentioned using a Tascam 24 track. I'm curious exactly which Tascam that was. Thanks!

I really wasn't a big fan of DVD's, but I just got a Tascam 2488 hard disk recorder and watching the training DVD just made it all so much easier to learn. So I have just ordered the DVD from MF and hope that it can help shed some light on some of the more esoteric voyager functions. Being primarily...

Yes, I woud definately set it for "auto". Mine has no problem staying in tune with either my CS6x or Voyager RME.

I think Joe Walsh might disagree with you there. :D

Pretty cool video, though -- and a great idea. My guitarist has a talk box that I can never get him to use -- think I might have to try to borrow it. :)

hmm..."hardware upgrade options". This sounds a lot like the memory board and OS 3.0 for the Voyager back in '05. Interesting that they are talking about a USB upgrade. Now that could be interesting, even for us lowly SE I owners. :) We'll just have to await for the final word from Amos. -...

Amos,

Thanks for the details. You are awesome, dude. Really.

The new Arp sounds like a lot of thought has gone into it.

One question though, what type of output is put out via Midi while the Arp is running? If I have my RME running with my LP what would it recieve?

That new MGMT single uses a LP. You can see them play it on Letterman... with capes, haha. http://youtube.com/watch?v=XqzoRQv2UIU I remember seeing those guys on Letterman when it was first broadcast. They freaked me out so much I didn't even notice the LP. Loved that the bass player was pl...

If you haven't already, I'd call their tech support directly rather than waiting for a response from the board here.

Speaking of the velcro straps. How does everyone fit theirs across the LP?

Seems like they shoud be crissed crossed (in an X) over the LP. Is this how everone is doing theirs?

Yeah, I think Khoral's right on that. My serial is 02816, and I just bought it new three weeks ago (from a big online mustic retailer). I have no idea what the serials mean, though. Like Khoral says, only Moog would know and I doublt if they'd want that kind of proprietary sales info floating around...
