MOOG 1120
I'm looking almost a year for a MOOG 1120 controller in good condition. Does somebody have one for sale ?

Re: MOOG 1120
Is this a collector's question? If not: If there is no need for the original, the pedal is more or less just a 100k linear pot. Seelauryfriese wrote: ↑Wed Feb 28, 2024 7:59 am I'm looking almost a year for a MOOG 1120 controller in good condition. Does somebody have one for sale ?

Re: MOOG 1120
I think the pot inside is exact the type used as mod wheels in the vintage minimoogs …
In case you want your instrument to have the same characteristics you’ll need these .
Plus untill you need them for that , you’ll have a great looking handy pedal

I wonder if any brand offers modulation devices (pedals, modwheels) with selectable characteristics. If there is just a linear pot mounted, the characteristic is for linear functional control (or you have an expressive control over your foot ), where logarithmic pots (taper) are used for volume control (as the human ear hears that way) and the reverse tapers for the left hand users in our world. AFAIK no modwheel nor pedal can be switched...
