Pitch Wheel won't calibrate correctly - Slim Phatty
Hi, I have Slim Phatty serial number 00008 (bought 2nd hand in ebay. I had never calibrated it but decided to do it today. To my surprise after running all 3 calibration procedures I can't get a correct responde for pitch bend anymore. Using my korg kronos as a controller (which worked great before) it bend 4 steps down and a tiny bit up (cents), in programs which should bend +2/-2. If I change programming to +12/-12 I get +8/-14. If I change it to +5/-5 I get +2/-7 (sort of). I have tried recalibrating again (yes, I waited and hour to let it warm up) and even reflashed the firmware with latest version (3.21 690) but nothing cured it. OSC2 Freq also seems to be wrong as I read in the manual that when calibrated should tune to -7/+7 (fully counterclockwise and clockwise) but mine sounds like -8/+5. What should I do?
