Unable to activate the Arp.

Post by TangerineDreamer » Wed Jun 16, 2010 10:03 am

Hey Guys

I just bought LPSII and according to the Manual, I choose Advanced settings and turn the Arp On and the Latch On,and then according to the manual, I should go to the Preset Mode and adjust the value knob, however if I do that it changes the sound and The Arp doesnt work !!

Any ideas guys on how can I activate the Arp for a Preset, the manual says I should see an "A" beside the Preset but I am unable to use the Arp. although its enabled from the advanced Settings.

What do you guys think?

http://www.moogmusic.com/manuals/LPOS20_Addendum.pdf
page 13:

Turning the Arpeggiator ON/OFF
When a preset has the Arpeggiator function enabled, you turn the Arpeggiator ON and OFF by pressing the
VALUE encoder switch (Note: you must be in PRESET mode, not MASTER mode).

When the Arpeggiator is ON, an ‘A’ will appear on the bottom line of the display:

Thanks man for replying. I am doing those exact steps. The problem is when I go to the "Preset" Mode and press the "Value" Switch, instead of enabling the Arp, it switches the Voice.

Thanks.

Sir Noise is correct. The Value switch is toggled by pressing the knob, not turning it.

Hope that helps.

it's also a good idea to save the preset after you turn Arp Enable and Latch ON in the Advanced Presets menu. That way, if you do accidentally change presets, your changes were saved and you can more easily go back to the preset and enable the arp by pressing in on (not turning) the Value knob.

Cheers,

Amos
