new EP-2
new EP-2
Don't know if anyone knows about this. Well i didn't. Otherwise; sorry.
In July the new ep-2 expression pedal is going to be released. Think/hope it's gong to be sturdier. Guess so, cause text says it's twice as heavy as the ep-1.
And with a good price! 40 bucks

You are 100% right.Mr. Incredible wrote:Yeah, the EP-1 is a totally un-Moogish, cheap-o, lightweight piece of crap, if I may say so.
Made in Italy to boot, if I remember correctly. Not that that is a bad thing in itself, but still...
The EP-1 is a shame and not worth the Moog logo.
It is indeed made in Italy by the wellknown keyboard action builder Fatar.
I thought I would get a durable, heavy duty meta pedal.
And I received a lightwight plastic one.
I am glad I bought it used at eBay for less then the official price.
If the new pedal is a propper Moog quality one, then it is the right way to go by Moog.
BTW: not all Fatar pedals are bad. But the better are about twice as expensive then the cheapo ones.
keep on turning these Moog knobs

I ask to one of my friend to build a couple of mini expression pedal: 50 or 100 kohm?
I always used mine with this exp pedal without any problem (100 kohm)
Which impedance has the Moog EP-2?

The resistance on the main pot is 50k with a linear taper.andtrea wrote:I ask to one of my friend to build a couple of mini expression pedal: 50 or 100 kohm?
