Voyager Old School problem

Post by psyhead » Mon Apr 26, 2010 5:55 am

Today...while playing around on the OS, my right output and highpass filter suddenly stopped working....in dual lowpass i only get signal from the left output and in highpass/lowpass i get silence....

Before this happened, I was just playing around with the filter at a high reso setting in dual low pass...and modulating the filter with osc2 fo some fm fun....then after leaving the voyager silent for sometime...to check some email...when i came back this problem started..
any ideas as to what and why?

will give moog music a call later as im in a diff time zone...

Interested in if this was resolved and how you did it. I have had my Old School for a few days and this problem came up when I was playing with it and left it on for some time, then I came back and the OS was stuck in "On/External" mode. turned the switch on and off a few times but nothing changed. It wasnt until I had turn the instrument off and on again for the third time it came back normal. What can possible cause this? Any ideas?

Best advice I can give you is to contact Moog Music's excellent customer support service, and see what they say. It could be as simple as reseating some wire connectors, or there is a defective part on the analog board.
