Re: Moog CP215
Welcome Luis! In addition to its standard offerings (listed by Stiiiiive), there are some interesting tricks that the CP-251 can do to further its basic utility. Using a simple feedback loop, the LFO can also output ramp, sawtooth, and pulse waves. Also, the LFO can also easily exceed the rated spec...

Have you tried contacting Moog? Although not listed on the Accessories page, they still may have one available.

Re: Voyager - bypassing second filter
Acid Mitch is quite right on this. In fact, it's one of the fundamental considerations for recreating Minimoog patches on the Voyager. A few years ago I included this as an addendum to the "Vintage, Voyager, or Virtual" article that compared a Minimoog Model D with a Voyager and a Creamwar...

Re: voyager mixer out/filter in Q
Yep! The technique is well-described in a few KnobTweak articles. Look in the Files/Voyager section for:

Re: VoyagerXL Note on
And there is also the setting for single or retriggering mode. The later will start the envelopes whenever a new note is played. The former is the way the vintage Moogs used: you had to let all keys go (play staccato) to trigger a new note. So you could play legato notes (change to a new note pitch...

Re: VoyagerXL Note on
Welcome to the forums Wavebreak!
You're looking for 'Keyboard Modes', which appears in the EDIT Menu (3.3). It allows you to select Lower, Higher, Last, or 1 Key Only operation.
Hope this helps.

Re: Moog Voyager Patches
Also I would love to try and recreate the Vox Humana patch at some point - I know this is a Polymoog one but I'm sure you could get close to it on a Voyager - anyone have any ideas? You can get close to the Vox Humana sound pretty quickly by tweaking the 'Space Strings' patch from the Select Series...

Re: Stomp Box Pedals that Work With Synths (Digital, Analog)
I now have the Nemesis delay and it is amazing. No clipping and great stereo sounds. I'll have to replace some of the stock engines with others on the app and then it will be perfect. Noise Tape is my favorite of the 12 stock engines so far, I think. Haven't tried replacing the stock engines in my ...

Re: Stomp Box Pedals that Work With Synths (Digital, Analog)
+1. The Nemesis makes a great synth pedal, but the tiny PS that comes with it iffy - sometimes works, sometimes not (my experience). Make sure you have an alternate handy (a Boss PS works).pcx9 wrote:Already have a Source Audio Nemesis on the way and cannot wait!

Re: Voyager slightly changed character to the better by the
A reflection: To me the Voyager was a disappointment soundwise as my intention was a Model replacement to my Model D I had back then. But it sounds to me like my 2008 Voyager sounds better and better the older it gets, especially the last year (10 years old now). Better is of course subjective, by ...

Re: New Moog Voyager XL
So while I'm waiting, I asked my wife for an "appetizer" and ordered a Roland SE-02 to tide me over for a bit, can't wait to see what it's like. Seems like you're on your way to gear heaven - congrats! One thought I had was to reconsider the SE-02 and substitute something less Moogish. Th...

Re: Can I use a CP-251 to Attenuate my Beatstep CV?
Yes, you can use the attenuators in the CP-251 CP to reduce Beatstep CV values. The attenuators are linear 50K ohm potentiometers (not 50KW as stated in the User Manual). Reducing the Gate voltage is as simple as patching into one of the CP-251 attenuators and setting the control to about the 1 o'cl...
