no...the mod rate knobs adjusts the speed of the LFO from slow to fast. the mod wheel lets you dial in the amount of LFO modulation...

make sure the OSCILLATOR MOD and/or FILTER MOD switches are on....they need to be on for the mod wheel to have any effect. and turn the MOD RATE control up halfway or so, too.

* ENVELOPE GATE SWITCH selects whether the envelopes will be triggered by the keyboard, on , or by an externally-applied gate.

it's the red switch at the bottom right of the control panel...make sure you have it set to EXT

i think you won't really know until you get the unit in your hands and try the output connections, but in the manual, it looks like you cannot get individual tracks routed to any type of digital output...

it's not easy to get the tracks you've recorded on your HD recorder onto a PC....I have a Fostex D160 and an Alesis HD24 hard disk recorders, and I have done only minimal research into dumping the data from the HD recorder onto a PC. the manual mentions the discontinued EP-1, which was replaced by the EP-2. Any expression pedal with a TRS plug would work. your EP-2 has an adjustment pot on the side....have you tweaked that to make sure the pedal is in the right range? try the EP-2 into the red volume jack on your voyager...does ...

So, using it with the RME though, I'm assuming I don't get cv out for the wheels, keyboard and touch screen. Would that be correct? touch screen, no. someone with an RME will have to confirm that a midi keyboard controller w/pitch and mod wheels generates CV at the VX-351 for keyboard pitch, gate, ...

the vx-351 gives you access to some of the CVs produced by the voyager...LFOs, pitch and mod wheels, S/H, filter and volume envelopes, keyboard pitch/ velocity/pressure/gate. plus you gat a couple of mults and attenuators
