Maybe you should ask this (describe the problem as accurate as possible) in the www.moogarchives.com forums - you'd never know somebody had a similar problem and can help you out.

More info about the use of the Polymoog in "Cars" (by Gary Numan of course): btw I took this info from a post by Sean Costello on the AH forum: Moog Polymoog - "The Pleasure Principle" uses that, and a Minimoog. I've been able to recreate most of the lead sounds with a Rogue, and...

Was the voltage you used correct ? (110V/230V) ?
Are you using good cables ? (crackling etc...) and have you tried cleaning the outputs a little ?

I really hope for you this wonderful synth will work soon.

And if I remember right (I've never seen one but I have this from synth books) the GX-1 weighs ± 250 kgs !!

CS-80 weighs more than 100 kgs !!

I don't own one (yet ?) but it's still one of my favourite MOOG synths. Congratz & have fun with the Polymoog !!!
