The Voyager always receives a bank at location of bank D. When the checksum is OK the bank will be loaded on the right location. That means after receiving a bank "x" the Voyager needs always bank D. I hope that brings a little light in the darkness... Seems logical to add this to the O.S...

Yes! Once I applied Rudi's Bank B, "beta of the boot version" from this thread above, the startup sound disappeared!

Looks loke it is the same my Voyager have: a strange starup sound, short one, if NOISE is ON and it's volume is at MAX - try it.

This was with 3.3 before I upgrade to 3.4, and still persisit now.
