I think semi modular style is a good way to go in the start.. I just upgraded from using only softsynths + desktop pc to macbook pro, voyager OS and virus TI...all at the same time bout a month ago :shock: Ive had no CV or prior analog hardware experience but let me tell you the voyager is everythin...

yeh mine does the same aswell....even with sustain on max..cant figure out why though...

hey i have an OS and VX 351 that i havnt set up yet as i dint feel like opening up my voyager already.....but so do i not need to attach that isolation thingy???

ah cheers man...but it wasnt that....just needed to turn up voltas output a bit thats all....i just wanted to to have a rythm sequence and control the pitch using the keyboard...its all workin now heheh...nice

I just got my Voyager Old School a few hours ago!!! And its wicked!!!! One question...im new to this whole analog cv business.... im trying to use the "trigger sequence" in volta to make a rhythm....so ive setup a trigger sequence gong out of...channel 7 on my motu sound card...and channel...

hey PRIME how do u find the virus ti going with the voyager?? Sonically would they compliment each other well in a mix???

Wanted to know as I just ordered the new TI and will be orderin a Voyager OS soon...quite the opposites i know hehe but thats how i roll.....

^^Wait for Volta by the looks of things.....Ive seen some pretty crazy videos on youtube of volta controlling all sorts of modular CV gear with ease. U just need a sound card with DC coupled outputs(MOTU, RME stuff ) It has not only built in midi cv conversion but also LFOs, Sequencers envelopes etc...

Yeh i was gonna get the regular voyager but i dunno, there is something about the old school that really appeals to me....ehehe...im a bit scared with no midi and no patch saving but i reckon ill be happier in the end...
plus with volta coming up who needs midi?
