Re: Wooden Side Panels

If we have to wait as long for the Service Manual as for the Editor/Librarian then all is lost! Funny stuff right there! Come on guys, where's your sense of adventure? I've had the sides & front panel off of just about every synth I've ever owned, just to see what's inside. Naturally curi...

Re: Wooden Side Panels

Gents, check out synthwood.com - they make custom wood side panels for many different synths. They haven't done the T-3 yet, but once the first customer sends their's in, they will have a pattern for future builds.

Re: EDITOR/LIBRARIAN

Bumping for another Editor request! While the T-3 has to be one of the easiest synths ever to program, I would love to be able to store groups of my original patches, & be able to load them before gigs in a "set-list order". Also, it would make programming the arpeggiator much easier, ...

Baker69, I'll bet you dollars to doughnuts that a polite & respectful call to the CS dept. would net you your stickers, & you would have them before the end of the month.

Re: UPS Question Re T-3 Delivery

If its not obviously displayed then its probably not requested by the dealer. The driver could drop it off or hang on to it at their discretion. Ive had both. Might as well just try to be there. :D post pics when it arrives! Metron, great to see you are joining the T-3 club! We talked about my Taur...

Re: T3's Poping Up At Retailers

Scott, Best Buy may not be out of the question. The Best Buy near Park Meadows has a very nice musical instruments section, and they have a great selection of top shelf gear - Gibson, Roland, Eden, DW & Taylor, just to name a few. I bought my Gibson 50th Anniversary Commemorative Flying V from t...

Re: T3's Taurus preset

My Taurus 3 came pre-loaded with V1.13 Firmware but to me the Taurus 1 Preset doesn't sound right, sounds like it has too much Cut-Off and Resonance and it doesn't sound 'beefy' enough??? :? I've previously owned 2 sets of T1's so I don't think I'm imagining things. +1 I thought it needed some twea...

Re: Fun with the arpeggiator.

Eric, Does your sequencer have MIDI in, for clock speed control? I use a Roland drum machine when I sync my Taurus, LP and JP-8000 together for arpeggios. The speed of all three synths can then be set with one control, stopping & starting, and speeding up and slowing together in sync. As...

Re: doesn`t anybody want t-3`s

Rick400352, You really need to spend some time with your T3, with the owner's manual in hand. Your T3 can do everything the old T1 could, but the T1 can only scratch the surface of what the mighty T3 can do. As far as pedal synths go, the new Taurus is a deep instrument, and you will get out of it w...

Re: I guess the T3 hurt the T1 market a bit

Hell the T3 hurt the T3 market. I stopped playing in my regular Rush cover band and briefly considering unloading the T3 so I checked the local and eBay listings... even at $1400 like new they aren't selling... so I'll be definitely hanging on to mine for the time being. You'll be glad you decided ...

Re: Moog Customer Service

When my Taurus 3 road case arrived with one of the casters sheared off during shipping, Moog customer service sent me a whole new case, and took care of all shipping costs and arrangements. Yes, Moog does indeed have one of the best service departments in the business. As for the damaged case, it ma...

Re: Taurus III nominated for TEC Award

Congrats, Moog - the T-3 is indeed a great synth, worthy of praise and accolades.

Now let's see if you can do it again and reclaim the "King of the modern poly synths" title by building the "MemoryMoog II 8-voice polyphonic Synthesizer, amazingly priced at under $6k! :D
