Thanks Amos,

Will we have to end up sending in our MP-201s? (Mine ceased to be recognized via USB on the Mac or the PC.)

Thanks,

Additional idea - in the gate function, could you set bounds for the gate; for example, if I wanted to do a CV octave shift down, gate off = 0volts & gate on = -1volts...

Any ETA on any updates to the mp201 os? (I know we of the forum have asked for a lot of new features.)

Thanks for replying, Amos. This is why I scrimped to get my MP-201, because of the support of you and the rest of the Moog crew. I look forward to the update.

thanks,

MP-201 Gate CV weirdness in QD (Quad) Mode...

Hi everybody, Anyone else experiencing lack of gate functionality when in QD (Quad) Mode? I've noticed that when I have CH1-3 set up as expression, CH4 as gate, CH4 won't activate/deactivate the gate but use the initial state only (eg, initial state is ON, can't turn it OFF) When in SGL (Single) Mod...

MP-201 MIDI Gate display glitch?

Hi All, I was noticing that the MP-201 channels when set to Gate mode output MIDI value 127 when On and 0 for Off, but the display shows On=127 (good) but Off=64 (?) This makes sense for the CV values of +5v/0v even when CV Scale is set to Bipolor, but originally was disconcerting as I thought that ...

sunny, to answer your question about the spring loading of the pitchbend wheel...I did remove the spring (actually, there's a metal piece that can be reversed to not press against the actual tensioned metal spring) in an effort to get more "vintage" minimoog pitch bend technique; however, ...

Pitch bend wheel - eliminating dead zone???

Hi all (Rudi & Amos, especially), I'm interested to know how the dead zone is put into the Voyager's pitch bend wheel...After playing a vintage Mini (UNspring-loaded, center-detent pitch wheel) I've found the Voyager's PB less than effective for hand-played vibrato (especially when I want to use...

Voyager OS 3.4.0 procedure question?

Hi everybody! I first tried using Midi-OX to upgrade my Voyager Signature Edition from 3.4b to 3.4.0...even after trying the buffer increase mentioned in other posts on this forum, it didn't work. I then downloaded the new SoundTower editor version, figuring I could upgrade with that...when reading ...

thanks for the comments!

thanks to all who wrote! dr. floyd, this piece was through-composed, and it took (too) many times through to get it to this degree of improvised-feeling.

long live moog!

phrasing with DECAY switch/pedal...

I knew there was a part of this I forgot to mention in my original post...on the Model D, using the DECAY switch/pedal seems to "amplify" this phrasing effect. Conventional legato: /\ / \ / \____________ / \ n n n n n n (n is note on) Model D phrasing with Decay pedal and legato /\ / \ / \...

Voyager "phrasing" like Model D...

Hi All, I know everyone's probably sick of the invariable comparisons between "now" and "then"...but. As a proud owner of Voyager Sig #230 (cherry) AND a Model D (#10558) one thing I've noticed that makes the Model D more "playable" (totally subjective here!) is that th...
