Re: Model D Reissue Pitch Wheel Mod (Like Grandmother!)
Interesting, thanks for the tip. I've played with it since I had to have it replaced which gave me an opportunity to study how it works when swapping it out. The Grandmother feels really smooth though. The spring-loaded-ness is pretty nice. I'll search out the instructions but I think a Moog mod wou...

Model D Reissue Pitch Wheel Mod (Like Grandmother!)
Having seen the Grandmother at Moogfest I was impressed with the new pitch wheel - it's spring loaded and easy to play - unlike the Model D (original and re-issue) - I think a mod for the Model D reissue pitch wheel to be just like that of the Grandmother would be a welcome addition to an otherwise ...

Re: New Model D Reissue Pitch Bend Center (Precision)
I spoke with a Moog employee at the latest Moogfest about the pitch wheel. That was the only reason I decided not to buy one. Moving it from that detent was like climbing out of a crevice. He mentioned that there may be a way to make it more like the mod wheel - completely loose - maybe this is the ...

More importantly - what does it mean? Moogfest right around the corner - could there be a revision coming?

touch-sensitive (cv) strip for voyager
The touch-sensitive strip on the XL has reminded me that I've always wanted one of those on my Voyager Performer Edition. I'm not assuming Moog would make a retrofit for the Voyager (although that would be awesome) but can anyone recommend a quality CV strip that would work well in the meantime? I p...

I hear what you're saying - and for what it's worth I would be first in line to buy an LP OS - Little Phatty Old School

Re: Moog Voyager keyboard and pitch/mod wheel quality
Sorry to hear of your LP issues. I use both an LP Stage II and a Voyager Performer Edition so I can speak directly to how they compare. Regarding keys - Voyager wins by a LONG shot. The keys are night and day and the Voyager keys have a great spring to them. Very easy to play fast lines. One of the ...
