Re: Animoog crashing on launch v 1.0.2
I am having the exact same issue. iTunes says version 1.0.3 is downloaded, but only 1.0.2 shows up and it crashes upon launch, just as described above.

Re: MP-201 Update: preset names all scrambled!
OK,
I re-did everything, and this time included the step of turning OFF and back on after the re-boot. For some reason, that did the trick. I love wandering in the digital wilderness and then stumbling in on a solution and not knowing quite what the hell it was...

MP-201 Update: preset names all scrambled!
Hi, I thought I followed the directions to the letter, especially and including the part where we're supposed to back up our presets BEFORE doing the 2.1 update. Somehow, however, the names are all gibberish now. The rest of the thing seems to have worked, ie: the system is now v. 2.1/349 Is there a...

Re: little phatty vst in ableton
I don't have the editor, but I have had other weird behaviors in Ableton and LP Tribute. Amos suggested, and it might help you (it didn't solve my issue) to make sure you turn Local Control to OFF. That way, there has to be an armed MIDI track sending to the LP for it to make sound. If the editor is...

Ableton Live 8 & LP
Hi, I have been having some trouble with Live 8 and the LP tribute, myself. I don't know if this relates to your problem, but: Live seems to send out MIDI that I didn't intend to the LP, such that sudden volume changes, arpeggiator modes, and other very weird behaviors occur (I cannot touch the reso...

Wendy Carlos's Secrets of Synthesis
I have been listening to this record for years, and it always inspires and confounds me. She is very articulate and knowledgeable about the topic; it's really a course in synthesis basics, and especially composing/arranging within the limits of analog. Her point about "good analog is good but g...

Re: A glass of red wine, an evening in with the Moog LP
I am still just getting the sense of the LP (not the swiftest kid on the block, it's been awhile). I am finding nice harmonic content in messing with Osc 2 Freq, having cutoff real low and using a filter pedal to Waoooow it up. Also, I am enjoying the noise Lfo for added grit.

RME drum sets for Ableton Live
This seems to be a very high-quality set for Live. I had to add the .alp suffix after it unstuffed, but then it loaded into Live 8.1 just fine. Quite a bit of work went into this and free is always a good price.

Tribute
The Factory upgrade on the Tribute makes the LFO/MIDI Sync option, which is very handy. I am also getting the hang of using the additional CV outs to sync other gear with project tempo. I saw some pictures somewhere here of someone who modded their Stage II with very nice wooden endcaps. The Sweetwa...

CV and sound
Dan, Thanks. I have sort of got it: by following your patch, the MF 107 does open up along with the LP, and I have sync or not to sync/mix, etc to blend to taste. The tantalizing part is, with the LP output off, I can't play just the 107 like you do in the clip. It's not terribly important, I just c...

CV out to –?
Dan,
In this video, you run a CV from the LP to the 107 and play the 107 oscillator alone, with the 2 LP oscs turned off.
I have been trying to replicate this, without success. What CV output does this, and which input on the Freqbox?
