Re: Bought a Bubinga Voyager, Wish I bought a RME...

I wanted to get the Bubinga bundle. It's still a good value but went with the RME and expanders and saved quite a bit of $ and space. I had enough left over to set up a rack of foogers to go with my semi-modular Moog set-up. I just got a Voyager and had similar thoughts about wanting the patch poin...

Re: Bought a Bubinga Voyager, Wish I bought a RME...

I'm sure someone out there would love a special edition Bubinga EB Select. If you're not happy with it then by all means pass it onto someone who would really appreciate it. I don't understand your purchase lament. BTW, I just bought a Bubinga EB Special Edition bundle package from Sweetwater too w...

Re: Bought a Bubinga Voyager, Wish I bought a RME...

Thanks everyone! I think I just wish I could get a front rack mounted panel for all the Rear Voyager ports... Kinda want a more modular feel to it.

Re: Voyager Rear Ports Questions!

Also note that from the manual: "All red jacks are the TRS type, supplying +5V on the ring , and applying the input CV or variable pedal voltage return on the tip". Yeah thats what I was afraid of... makes the wiring a bit more complicated, I was hoping to not have to individually wire th...

Re: Voyager Rear Ports Questions!

Omg thanks, I will scourer through that information when I get out of work. The main reason I was wondering is because I heard about how some moog ports when nothing is pluged in gets supplied a constant +5 volts which would mean I need to wire certain 6 pin switching TRS jacks for the greater funct...

Voyager Rear Ports Questions!

Hello All, So I am attempting to learn how the Voyager rear ports work. Mainly with how they function whether a TRS jack is plugged in or not. I want to make a pass through panel to have front rack access to the ports. This would mean I have TRS cables plugged in to all the rear jacks all the time a...

Re: racking the fooger collection

So does the +5V always on with nothing is plugged in apply to the rear Voyager ports as well? Because I am going to build a front passthru port for the rear TRS ports on my Voyager. I am just trying to make sure I do everything right. I asked a few questions directly to Moog but have not had a respo...

Front Patchbay for Voyager Back Ports?

Hey All,

So I recently got my Moog Voyager with the Vx-351 and CP-251.
I really want to give with a fun Modular feel by getting the rack mount kit for the VX/CP.

But then I would want all 16 of the Voyagers back ports to be front and center.

Has anyone else done this in a elegant and nice fashion?

Re: FS/FT: Mint MF104Z

You can use a midi controller to adjust the settings. There are also hidden settings that can be adjusted via midi. If you use multiple time based devices and use midi clock, you can sync them together without adjusting the time knob. If you're the kind of person that just wants to easily move knob...

Re: Just pulled the Plug on a Voyager...

I don't know much about sequencers, but I did get a Doepfer Dark Time (with blue LEDs, no less) for my Voyager last summer. Highly recommended pairing, at least based on my experience. Choice is yours, but personally I'd wait until you come to grips with the Voyager and related Moog devices before ...

Perfect that's what I like to hear! That one is presently at the top of my list!
