Perhaps it depends on the DAW or controller you are using with the SP. When I use it with my Akai MPC 2500, there is a command to wich preset the synth should jump. I have to disable this setting. Hope this helps.

I don´t know exactly. Just tried a few times but was successful after trial and error sessions.
Use the filter envelope (sustain, release) to keep it open.

osc 1+2 volume to zero, only Resonance and filter opened fully.
the distortion may result from the SP´s overload...

Did you try to reset it to factory settings? This maybe helps...

Sounds like MIDI FEEDBACK LOOP. Search for this, it might help ...

Works now for me after calibrating it two times.
