Ground loop is suggested being one reason for oscillators leaking through, se subjecthttp://www.moogmusic.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=9043
By the way, normally you should not hear this on an analog synt, i.e. if the VCA is well calibrated.

Re: Calibration - at Moog only?
I agree, guess you´re danish? There must be some place in europe where it could be done, however I think the thought of shipping at all is unpleasant. I have calibrated and tuned synths as the SCI Pro-One, and it´s easily done by ear and a reference tone and of course a manual. Couldn´t be that hard...

Re: Oscillators leaking through
Ground loop. Yeah, that might be something to consider, thanks! - I think that I actually shortened the ground in my Pro-one many years ago because of high noice due to ground loop. I´ve also done this on a new Hammond XK-1......probably not recommended but I think I must try this on the moog as we...

Re: Bass Sound from the Head Hunters' Chameleon
As someone wrote above, with the Pro-one you can patch that chameleon bass sound very good, I´ve done it without any extra gear. But on my Voyager OS it´s hard....the filter is in my opinion not as "agressive", the Pro-one is better in this matter.

Re: Oscillators leaking through
I´ve got a OS #350 and noticed leakage noice first time I played it through my Roland JC 120 (solid state amp), not fun at all when we do our recordings with microphones. The leakage noice will be slightly lower if I turn the osc mixer volume down to middle (default), but still it´s not good at all....

Re: voyager OS velocity
Thanks for your comments! I realise that the velocity response on my OS probably is OK and something I have to get used to. I don´t know which keyboard I have on mine, but refering to the number of screws on the bottom (8) it ought to be the chinese one? On the other hand, it does have white covers ...

voyager OS velocity
Hi there! I´ve got a brand new voyager OS #350 and after some reading about different topics concerning the keyboard I´d like to ask other players about the velocity controller: on my voyager OS the velocity control is quite different from what I´m used to from all other keyboards I have played earl...
