No, the Octatrack does not have that ability. In fact, no device has that ability, there's no such MIDI message.Vondragonnoggin wrote:... does the Octatrack have the ability to send clock/sync on a different channel ...

Re: Considering a Sub Phatty or a Mini Brute
I don't agree with any of this. Try it for yourself. I tried on my Sub Phatty, the pitch and volume is positive only, the filter input responds to negative CV as well. That and Amos said so in a thread in the Phatty section. Tidda You can add +2.5V of offset to the LFO signal using the CP-251 mixer...

That must be an MG-1 on the floor under the Minimoog then ?Europanaut wrote:Thanks David! In addition to the obvious Moogs, there's one more bit of Moogishness hidden in the photo. Barely visible, but probably impossible to identify. Here's a hint....think "Bell Tone".

Re: How can I stop Cutoff responding to aftertouch ?
The setting is hidden in the prefs sub screen, not in the main GUI.
Anyway, checked what happens when changing the setting, it is a sysex stream:
F0 04 06 23 18 00 xx 00 F7 with xx from 0 to 127, default 32 i guess.

Re: Weird LSB CCs and static-y pops when recording knob twea
The LSB is supposed to look that way. Think of it as a 2 digit number, the left digit being the most significant digit because when it is increased the value of the number is increased by 10 instead of only 1 when the right (least significant) digit is increased. When you go through the sequence of ...

Re: Save Octave Down/Up with Preset?
Indeed, in that case you would not want to use those buttons on the Slim Phatties. But wouldn't saving the setting of those buttons on the Slim(s) be sort of fooling with them? The 'lined up' preset on the Slim now also has saved e.g. a 'one octave down' setting, doubling the effect? Am I right to c...

Re: EP-2 & MP-201 question
... the manual for the MP-201 is quite clear with instructions to use TS cables ... Can't find that in the manual. Maybe I missed it. But from the MF-101 manual: When connecting one or more pedal control input jacks to a source of external control voltage such as an analog synth or a MIDI-to-CV con...

Re: EP-2 & MP-201 question
I don't have a MP-201 so I wouldn't really know, but it doesn't seem very moog-like to make this stuff incompatible with each other.

Re: EP-2 & MP-201 question
If one of the pedal inputs on a fooger has a TS in it, it shorts out the voltage on all rings of the other pedal inputs as well.
So if you're using a TS cable between the MP-201 and the fooger, the EP-2 won't work.
Using a TRS cable should do the trick.

Re: Which amplifier?
I also recently bought an Etherwave Theremin Plus. I got this with it http://www.thomann.de/gb/the_tamp_pa4080kb.htm . Very happy with it, nice range. Playing it at home as well as in a band. I'm a keyboard player so that's why I looked at keyboard amps first of course. Also got 2 Moogerfoogers with...

Re: MF's with Patchbay
Hi Maxim, and hello to everyone else (first post here), Here's a picture of a jumper (the blue thingy), and as you can see there's a little wire in there. http://bak1.beareyes.com.cn/2/lib/200512/02/023/hdd_jumper_ma.jpg It is used to transfer low current low voltage between two pins so it's very su...
