Re: Is Minitaur playable as a stand-alone unit without keybo
To answer the OP's question: Yes. Kind of. While there isn't a dedicated button/switch on the Minitaur (or Little/Slim Phatty) to enable it to drone on by itself, you can plug a 'bare' cable into the Gate CV jack and it will produce sound continuously. You won't be able to change the fundamental pit...

Roland Alpha Juno 1. Polyphonic analog for $250? Yes please!
It's about as mint as anything from 1985 is going to ever be.

Re: Little Phatty vs. Slim Phatty
Correct me if I'm wrong, but did you manually "copy" the settings from the Slim onto your LP? Or did they both have the same preset already programmed? If you did it by hand, there are a few things that might be keeping them from sounding the same that aren't always obvious. One would be t...

Re: Any RME + VX-351 owners willing to sell their adapter ?
Haven't been able to find it so far, although honestly I can't even remember what it looks like.
Most likely it's in the box the VX-351 came in. Wherever that may be.
I'll keep looking for it though; I know I didn't throw it away or anything like that.

Re: Any RME + VX-351 owners willing to sell their adapter ?
I should have one laying around here somewhere. My Voyager is an OS, and since it was a later model (like the RME), it didn't require the adapter to be installed. I'll post back later if I come across it. I wouldn't really charge anything more than covering shipping / postage costs, since it's of li...

Re: what should moog release next?
I guess an analog drum machine would be pretty cool. I can't really think of anything off the top of my head that would make it unique, but I'd like to see what their take on it would be. A small monosynth (one oscillator) that has an insane amount of modulation options would be nice. Multiple LFO's...

Re: Voyager Oogle Love Synth Porn - PHOTO thread
This was taken a year or so ago after finally picking up all my stuff off the floor and organizing things. Which is why none of it is plugged into anything.

Wow. This has risen a few spots on my list of must-have equipment. Which is impressive considering I wasn't even sure if I wanted one before! Question about the MIDI-to-CV conversion: Does this have to be done via USB, or can you use a device with a regular (non-USB) MIDI Out? I've been looking for ...

Another vote for the OS; no regrets picking one up for myself last year. I originally wanted to get the Voyager Electric Blue, but it was somewhat out of my price range at the time, so I had my eye on the Rackmount. Then the OS was announced a few months later, and I went with that. You really can't...
