Ah, I missed that. I thought the back was completed already.
Thanks for clarifying thealien666, and thanks also for those great photos. Interesting that the bends on your stand are a little different than SN1850.

Re: Can you scan your model D stand?
Sorry I can't risk shipping mine.
Just curious, but with thealien666's photos and the actual measurements listed above, why is the real piece even needed by your manufacturer? It's one piece of metal with 4 angle cuts, 2 bends, and 2 holes to mount the hinge.

Re: CV Expander - Question about VCA in vs SQ-1 vs Kenton US
The SQ-1 puts out a 10V gate, so that's why it is distorting the VCA. The VCA is expecting 5V maximum. So you are already doing a version of what I mentioned, by using the gate voltage to open the VCA for the duration of the gate, revealing the droning osc. I'm not sure why that 10V gate is not work...

Re: CV Expander - Question about VCA in vs SQ-1 vs Kenton US
There are other posts on the gate in requirements (using the Werkstatt's gate out as an gate input). If the gate signal isn't strong enough, it won't trigger the envelope. The VCA input is NOT for gate signals, only CV like an envelope output or CV pedal. You could use a CV to open the VCA while not...

Re: moogs on tour
That is fantastic. Thanks for posting the samples. That is a huge amount of articulation and detail. Great feel and personality too. The voicings are really nice. Really enjoying how you play with the ring mod and keep it melodic and musical. The original Lyricon does not have CV outputs and is not ...

Re: moogs on tour
Wireless MIDI to Sub37 is a sweet solution. I hope we can hear it in action. You can tell Will there is some movement occurring re: fixing Lyricons. I assume his Lyricon has a dried out wind transducer membrane. It is repairable. Hopefully more news later this year. I still have one working Lyricon ...

Re: moogs on tour
Thanks for posting these photos. This is such a great idea for an ensemble.
How do you like the EWI5000? Anyone else using one? I think someone was using a WX7 controlling a Minimoog in a rehearsal video from Sonicstate. Is anyone using a CV wind controller like a Lyricon or pre-MIDI EWI/EVI?

Re: Best midi pickup !
You'll need to learn how to play the pickups and adjust your timing, but it will work. Sonuus has the cheapest mono solution, but you'll really have to play carefully http://www.sonuus.com/products_b2m.html Sonuus also has an iphone/ipad app as a converter so you can try it out. Fishman Tripleplay i...

Re: MF107 with sequencer
The simplest configuration is seq cv out to freqbox FREQ in. Then OSC OUT on the Freqbox to whatever is next - filter, etc. There is nothing coming out the AUDIO OUT because there is nothing going to AUDIO IN. Note that the OSC OUT is an EXTREMELY hot signal. In this config I think ENV and FM amount...

Re: anyone use Motion Sound amps?
I had the KP200S and Pro3x but had to sell before a long distance move. I really like them a lot. The KP200S was powerful and a bit bland without a touch of effects, but was amazing with a tube pre and a bit of stereo delay or reverb. The controls on the top/back was sometimes an issue when stacking...

Abandoned Moog Modular in India
http://www.eastofborneo.org/articles/subcontinental-synth-david-tudor-and-the-first-moog-in-india Very sad photo of an abandoned Moog modular. Also interesting to read of Tudor's dislike for both man and machine version of Moog. http://s3.amazonaws.com/eob_nonarchived_images-production/eob_uploaded_...

Taurus 3 on David Letterman
Monday night Letterman had a British 3 piece band and one guy played the Taurus 3 with his hands. Sounded great. After they finished and Dave came over to shake hands, he noticed it and asked what it was. He asked the guy if he made it himself. He asked Paul Shaffer if he knew what it was. No one sa...

Re: Noise Issue
This was a problem in some early Signature models which Moog eventually corrected. For my particular musical application it made the Voyager unusable for the first year. Moog came up with a fix, I sent it back and it's been beautiful ever since.
