Re: Voyager OS Release Time

Seems that I found the solution myself. There is a "release" switch next to the mod-wheel, which solves the problem ... :)

Voyager OS Release Time

Hi, I just unpacked my new Voyager Old School (serial number 555) and now I am in the process of testing all functions to find out whether everything is in place and working. When trying the volume envelope I found that turning the release knob to the very right does not give me a release time of 10...

Well ColorForm, all I can say is: don't buy it. The Voyager has a couple of serious shortcomings which are not described on the moog website nor in the handbook but make the machine practically worthless. Apart from being extremely monophonic and heavy I found that almost every Voyager is ... well ....

I asked my Voyager, Virus, and Nord Stage whether one of them would be willing to go and they all want to stay. So no way for me to do without one of them. I therefore decided to tag the Nord Stage "piano" which enables me to keep both the two synths and the piano.

Voyager dust cover

Does anybody use the "official" voyager dust cover ( http://www.moogmusic.com/voyager/?section=product&product_id=21165&back_id=21108 ). 49$ seems to be rather pricy. Does it have qualities which justify the price? Does this type of dust cover work with a retracted control panel on...

I too grew up listening to synth sounds, ELP, Larry Fast, etc etc. couldnt afford a moog when i was 13 in 1971 naturally. fooled around on an old upright piano i had, took a few lessons, never really learned to play but had fun experimenting. when the computer age came about with the IBM-XT i had o...

more time for music

Hi, I don't expect a solution for this but I would like to share my frustration a little bit with other synthesizer enthusiasts: When I was a schoolboy I started to listen to Jazzrock protagonists such as Herbie Hancock, Billy Cobham, George Duke, etc. because the boyfriend of my best friend's siste...

the duet is a consideration... but a bit expensive and a few more channels wouldn't hurt I am using the Duet for several months now and I am more than happy with its sound quality and integration with my MacBook Pro. The question is whether you are really planning to record more than two tracks sim...

so i bought the moog sound editor and loaded her up with choice sounds... and bingo... I didn't know that there is a sound editor for the Voyager. Another thing to look at. What's the main purpose of the software? Does it come with more/different presets? Or does it help you to organize your sounds...

Thanks for all your recommendations. think I will start to look a little bit closer at the analog delays MF-104 and Electro-Harmonix. And may be I can add an effect processor with broader functions later (e.g. MX200). For now I am very keen on using a delay. The cool thing is that one week ago I won...

My new Voyager

Probably totally irrelevant for this forum but I can't resist to express my enthusiasm: On friday I picked up my brand new Voyager Electric Blue from a local music store and after a weekend of playing with my new instrument and neglecting my family I can say: this is by far the most inspiring board ...
