I am 100% in favor of these units. With a jack added for external bypass, it would be a dream come true.

I've considered mocking up a custom patch-bay for all my control voltage needs, but this would be way more efficient.

*edited for clarity and to say, those mock-ups look great!

Keep in mind that when the MuRF is bypassed, you'll have no signal coming out of the right side. I found this out the hard way when recording back in January.

Hey rabishu uggae your own stonerrock right? I remember your rig because of the moogerfoogers! Anyway, Ben Verellen is building the T clone. If you haven't all ready, check his stuff out @ http://www.verellenamplifiers.com/ . If you are actually trying to get in touch with him I suggest the myspace...

I'm all for 'foogers in the front. My fx loop has a much higher gain stage than the initial output of my guitar, thus negating the cool sync effects of the FreqBox.

OT: Who's building your T clone, radish? I'd love to hear some moog'd up KT88's.

I was thinking about this the other night. I'm thinking of making two pieces that serve as "double-cheeks"... i.e. on block o'wood that mounts to both 'fooger casings. I'm getting really sick and tired of having to air-dust out my MuRF. Also, how about a pedal board for our 'Foogers? I kno...

Sweet rig! Any links to what it sounds like?

It's a shame you're not using that Mesa 2x12, though. Their cabs are kindof pricey if you're just using them as amp stands.

Turns out my problem wasn't the ring mod at all... It was the EP-2!

I have two of these fine fellows and one appears to have quit working entirely. Any advice on how to troubleshoot an EP-2?

I'm planning on opening the case and taking a gander inside this evening.

You guys rock! Thanks so much.

Perhaps you have some ring-to-sleeve shorting in one of the jacks. If you plug a TS cable into any of the expression inputs, all expression inputs will be disabled. (I.e. you will not be able to use any expression pedals.) Can you check if any jacks are shorted internally? Or use a non-expression s...

MF 102 toubles

Long time lurker, first time poster... Hopefully you fine folks can help me out. I'm having some troubles with my ring-mod. None of the parameter control jacks respond to expression pedal input. This happened out of the blue about a week ago. I bought it used, so it might just be everyday wear and t...
