I have saved about 7 patches on my Voyager. I doubt anyone would want to try them anyway. Still, there's my favourite method of distributing, by drawing a patch chart. :) Sorry to inform you that patch charts are very inaccurate when used with the voyager. I have been told several times by technici...

Forum Soundbank?? Anyone??
Hello- This was a great idea about the soundbank, has anyone done anything to make this happen? That was the first thing I thought we should do on this forum. Here are the 3 sound banks that I know of: 'Zon.syx/mid' - A 128-preset bank that comes loaded on the Voyager. (The first preset is titled &q...

When are we going to see this new OS anyways?
It has been quite a while since the 1.5 OS came out. When should we expect an update? I am getting a little restless.

Thanks for the tips, guys!
That really does fatten up the sounds! I especially like the second idea, where you plug in the cable half-way - I would have never thought of that, thanks a bunch!!!

A Rhodes piano does not have many harmonics, it's a very mellow sound that wouldn't benefit much from a subtractive filter. Now a Clavinet has TONS of harmonics that will sound good through the Voyager filters. As does bass guitar, electric guitar, snare drum... I recently put my Fender Jazz bass t...

External Sources through the Voyager
Fellow Moog users- I have tried to send my rhodes through the voyager, and have come up with some interesting sounds using the presets on the voyager. I just turn all the oscillators off, turn the ext. source ON (all the way up in the mixer), and turn the 'env. gate' to ON/EXTERNAL. I would love to ...

I would like to see better control over aftertouch, maybe a menu item that would control the sensitivity... or the ability to patch the lag processor into the aftertouch. That's all I can think of! The VOYAGER is AMAZING!! Great job, Dr. Moog!!! I agree, I would love proportional aftertouch, but as...

Thanks, FrankB!!
FrankB- I just downloaded your patch interpreter and love it. Thank you for all the work you have done on this. I would be willing to pay for your continued efforts by purchasing a final product that would be a patch editor/librarian for PC. I appreciate all your efforts so far, and would really enc...

How do you pronounce "Moog" and "MoogerFooger
I have heard two ways to pronounce this: 'Moog' rhyming with 'rogue' and 'Moog' rhyming with 'coug' (short for cougar). And how do you pronounce 'moogerfooger'? It seems like that would be pronounced with two 'oo' or long 'u' sounds, not two 'o' sounds.
thanks in advance,
Mike

I would like to see the following: 1.) EP-1 pedal input should not effect the settings unless moved. For example, assigning the pedal to the filter is not useful now, because the Voyager just uses the pedal's current position. I would like it to emulate what the panel controls do, and only effect th...

Hi- I believe you are supposed to upgrade the boot system to 1.2 first, then install the 1.5 OS. I don't want to sound insulting, but are you sure you have the MIDI cables connected correctly? OUT to IN and vice versa? The Voyager has the MIDI inputs labeled IN/THRU/OUT, not the usual THRU/OUT/IN. I...
