Thanks for the info but I think you're misunderstanding me.

a) I don't have the piano yet. When I get it, it will be working fine.

b) Only Rhodes Suitcase pianos had an onboard pre-amp and tremolo. Stage pianos, which is what I'm getting, did not have either.

I concur with pretty much all that's been said. Although I haven't played a Macbeth M5, in both its appearance and based on the videos and sound clips I've heard it is an ARP2600 clone (and a good one reportedly) with extra features the 2600 didn't have. Yeah, I've had trouble getting the Mobius and the Voyager to work well together. But it works like a charm with the Arp and is more fun than should be legal.
