It is funny really. My Mini's shot from about half way down. Playing it is not currently a nice experience; something akin to having your teeth drilled.

Depends how you define 'shock' :wink: . I'd be wanting the right tools meself...

Interesting though, I've had a rogue for 20 years and I've never had to do a thing to it. Rock solid. The MiniMoog scaling on the other hand...

If all of the patches are gone, it's a good chance the battery is dead. Off the top of my head I think it's a 3,3 volt lithium. You can replace it yourself but it may require some soldering. Rogue SN 3029 MiniMoog SN 12841 MemoryMoog plus SN 3222 I bought the latter recently. It was fine when I brought it home, but it's had to stand for a while, as I've been reorganising my studio. Now I can't get a blessed thing out of it; it's a NoMemoryMoog, all the memories would appear to be blank....

There have been many eloquent messages of support and now heart-felt sadness around the web; mostly in Bob's Caring Bridge Gusetbook.

He leaves a tremendous legacy. The sound of the Moog will no doubt live on, long after we're all gone.
