Re: Roland RS-09 + MF-103

Re: sympathetic oscillators?
Actually, I thought I was addressing the original post of this topic. However, I believe that the Eventide approach is very similar to what you outlined. I don't have my manual handy, but I think it involved 6 all-pass filters. In addition to setting fixed pitches for the drones, they can be altered...

Re: sympathetic oscillators?
Are you familiar with the String Modeller algorithm on the Eventide H3000 D/SE? It's my favorite for this kind of thing. I don't know of any other implementation of this concept on other Eventide products. If anyone knows of something similar, I would like to know about it. I wonder if it can be pro...

KMPX Synth Mystery
Does anyone in the forum remember KMPX 106.9, San Francisco, circa 1969? Posted to my website are some clips from a live broadcast I taped, just before the station changed formats. There are also a couple of paragraphs with as much historical context I can remember. I am hoping that someone can shed...

Vocoder patch
So in the theremin example, the filter changes the vowel sound, the ring modulator is simply to add a metallic effect.

Pedal Power & MoogerFoogers
After dzy88p posted his success with the PP2 I decided to retest my stuff. It works better than I thought, but I may have a damaged PP2. Here's what I found: 1) The 104 definitely needs the 200ma (Line6) jack. 2) The 101, 102 & 103 worked on all the jacks except #2. They would startup then crap ...

Pedal Power & MoogerFoogers
Not only do you need to use a different cable, but I have found that only the #5 & #6 jacks (designed for Line6 pedals) work for most of my Moog pedals.
