Gazer: Yes the noise you are talking about is fixed with the OS 1.04 for tribute; no need for any upgrades.

Sorry, I'm not up to date. This sounds as the OS 1.04 is released?? It haven't found it yet.

Those buttons on the Phatty

Hi, I have a Tribute from 12/06 and I was never really happy with those rubber buttons. They have become more sluggish since I got the machine. The button for the LFO source often triggers twice with a single hard press. Is it nomal that the buttons have no precise trigger point and must be pressed ...

Hi,

When I start the app I press the button for Tribute, but nothing happens.
I have a Mac G5 with Emagic AMT8 Midi interface, it seems the application still needs some serious work...

Hi,

If the EGR-Matrix is set off, you cannot change the destination of the knob in the EGR section by pressing a button.
The knob itself works on the previous selected destination.

did you just call your lp a keyboard
:D Sorry, this is not my native language.
A Keyboard is most likely something like a casio or so.

Nevertheless I think you know what I mean.

Another big reason why the Tribute rocks: You have analog trim pots all over the board inside, so you can calibrate the thing manually... Sorry, but why should one prefer a manuell calibration over an automatic calibration ? I think most people are players rather than technicians who are able to op...

digital noise and stage edition

Hi,

What's about the well known noise of the tribute, which is getting into the filter with high volumes or distortion levels?
I have read that this could be fixed by firmware but I think it's more a hardware issue.
Is it fixed with the stage edition ?

I haven't noticed the digital noise in the first days but now it gets more and more disturbing.
Is there a hardware fix available or is it a design flaw ? Does the loudness vary on different models?

For the price tag of the Phatty, I think it's not acceptable.

Phatty's buttons

I have just received my Little Phatty and i am very happy with the overall sound so far. However, I have some complaints against the rubberlike little buttons on the panel. They do not respond very well, sometimes I have to press a second time to trigger a function, or I have to press harder to trig...
