Re: Theremini delay bug?
Also, setting Wave Scan Rate to negative (i.e. CC values <64) does not reverse the mapping to either the pitch antenna or the volume antenna. (i.e. CC22 and CC23 - Pitch Mod Scan Freq, Vol Mod Scan Freq.)
I should have called this thread Gordon's Theremini Bug Reports.

Re: Theremini delay bug?
Also, the volume antenna generates 7bit CC values in the range 0-125, not 0-127.
(I have not looked at the 14bit values.)

Theremini delay bug?
Is anyone else experiencing a bug where if the delay time is set too long the delay feedback is reset to zero?
(Specifically, any controller values over CC12=107 + CC44=47)

Re: New Theremini Editor Available
I was not able to make Theremidi send noted to Animoog, or see any activity from it in Midi Tool Box or MidiBridge. It could be that I'm doing something wrong, but I suspect not. The only thing I haven't tried is changing the speed at which the theremini transmit have pitch and volume messages. (It'...

Theremini: App to automate knob twiddling
With my new found confidence in some things MIDI I set about looking for an iPad app that was good for automated knob twiddling. One of my favourite things to do in post-production is to automate very slow filter sweeps and suchlike, so that the timbres are constantly changing, but so slowly that th...

Re: Please help! - Theremini MIDI problem
I get the impression that customer support is not one of eowave's strengths. Thank you for the manual link. I've put it right next to the app for instant access. The pedal reverts consistently. One day I'll discover the raw MIDI to reconfigure it from my iPad. Until then I'm am happy for MidiBridge ...

Re: Please help! - Theremini MIDI problem
Update. Turns out it is within my intellectual capacity, and I'm a glutton for punishment. :-/ So after some brain melt, idle poking around found the "Holy Mapper" in MidiBridge. Does exactly what it says on the tin - maps control codes onto other control codes. (Also channels and other st...

Re: Please help! - Theremini MIDI problem
I have done as you suggested and it all checked out ok, so I checked the configuration of the eowave, and it had reverted to cc code 1. I found some other forums where people had the same problem, and no solution was forthcoming. I have MidiBridge and Miditoolbox (possibly on your advice, I remember...

Please help! - Theremini MIDI problem
I am giving a talk about the theremini at Lydia Kavina's Hands Off 2015 on the 26th of September, and I would like to demonstrate the use of an Eowave USB MIDI Expression Pedal with aTheremini. ( http://www.eowave.com/instruments.php?prod=52 ) I am not a MIDI expert, but after much head-scratching a...

Re: New Theremini Editor Available
The sequencer is pretty cool - does great trills and arpeggios, but the app lacks some polish. Moog-style knobs look good, but they are not always the right way to go. Dropdown menus would be good for some functions, and a way to input exact values is something that both ThereMIDI and the Moog app d...

Re: Can I reverse the pitch antenna FAR-NEAR to HIGH-LOW pit
Jim, when I tried it, the non-linearity was very obvious. (Especially in full auto-tune - you can hear the notes getting closer as you sweep through the field.) I think it's because you're not really changing the capacitive field, just lying to the software about what is near and what is far . The s...

Re: Can I reverse the pitch antenna FAR-NEAR to HIGH-LOW pit
You can. During calibration, when it says hold your hand near the pitch rod, hold it far away, and when it says hold your hand far from the pitch rod, hold it close. This screws the linearity big time. The low notes will be close together and the high notes far apart. This is because the theremini p...

Re: Theremini shaking tone
Is there a device that will turn a poor quality power supply into a good one? I have played in some places that gave my etherwave the heebiegeebies and it worries me if the 'mini is more sensitive to such things.

Re: Note event handling for theremini?
Pedal for volume, antenna for pitch, control panel for other things.
That's basically a Kowalski system theremin.
