Google Meets Moog, releases free EP

Some of our friends at Google, who were responsible for the mind blowing Moog Google Doodle came to hang out at Moog during Moogfest 2012. While they were in Asheville, the folks at Google Play shot a mini-documentary about the marriage between technology and music, and it featured the 3rd Annual Moog Circuit Bending Challenge. During Moogfest, the winning bent sampler, which was populated with sounds from the Moog Google Doodle, was ensconced in the Moog Sound Lab so some of the festival's artists like EL-P and Primus could put it to the test. As an unexpected bonus, Detroit techno legend Carl Craig created an original track with the winning sampler and a gazillion Moogerfoogers.

The songs from these sound lab sesseions have been collected for free in Moogfest 2012: The Sound Lab EPYou can watch all the Moog Sound Lab videos exclusively at, and be sure to watch the Google mini-doc and download the free EP over at Google Play.
