From Moog to Mac: A Special Concert by Herb Deutsch

Presented on April 15, 2011 by the Gallatin School of Individualized Study at New York University.

In this video Herb Deutsch, old friend and collabortaor of Bob Moog's, talks about his efforts to help Bob develop the Moog synthesizer in the 1960's and tells some great stories in the process. Herb also performs his musical pieces throughout the presentation.

At 6:29 Herb plays the very first piece of music made using the sounds of a Moog synthesizer. That's not the only gem in the video. Watch it throughout to discover rarely heard anecdotes regarding the early days of Moog.
