New Free Software Update, version 3.4, for the Minimoog Voyager now available.
The new Voyager 3.4 Operating System features extensive local control options, new touch surface features, and enhanced pot resolution.
- Individual Local ON/OFF assignments for the Keyboard, Pitch and Mod Wheels, Aftertouch,
Touch Surface, Pots and Switches.
- Elimination of parameter stepping when multiple pots are adjusted at the same time
- LFO Sample & Hold capability for the Touch Surface, plus four selectable Amounts
(OFF, 25%, 50%, 100%) for the X, Y and A axis.
- Global Reset of selected parameters (Category, Pitch Bend, and Pedal Amount)
Click here, then click on the "Software" tab. You will be presented with a list of downloadable OS updates (for various computer operating systems etc) and utilities.
If you have an older Voyager (OS revision 2.5 or lower, built before August, 2005), a hardware upgrade is necessary to take advantage of the new operating system features. This hardware upgrade will also increase the single bank of 128 presets to seven banks of 128 for a total of 896. This upgrade is available as a field upgrade or factory upgrade.
