ANIMOOG - TIMBRES

Moog's Chief Engineer Cyril Lance lifts the veil off timbres, the essential sound source of Animoog's Anisotropic Synth Engine.  ASE allows you to dynamically move through an X/Y space of unique timbres to create a constantly evolving and expressive soundscape. The constantly expanding library of timbres are the key to unlocking the limitless potential of Animoog's 2D soundscapes.

dear cyril! i am using your animoog with my Yamaha WX5 wind-instrument. it's just paradise one earth! with CC02 i control cutoff & volume, with velocity (tongue) the Y-axis. on live sets i use the XY pad to quickly find the right soundcolor. timbres: i select quite different timbres, so even ONE preset provides a sufficent collection of synthetic sound-colors which i can "browse" trough on XY pad very fast. this is a fantastic way for me in concert situations. many many thanks for this fantastic musicinstrument! i am looking forward to further collections of TIMBRES! big respect, roland G-SAX.ch
