Do you offer an extended warranty on Moog products?
What is Moog's standard warranty?
Moog warrants its products to be free of defects in materials or workmanship and conforming to specifications at the time of shipment for a period of one year from the date of purchase. During the warranty period, any defective products will be repaired or replaced, at Moog’s option, on a return-to-factory basis. This warranty covers defects that Moog determines are no fault of the user.
Does Moog Music stock original Moog parts for older Moog products?
Is Moog Music the same company that used to be in New York state?
Yes and No. Bob Moog moved to Asheville from New York in 1978 and in 1994 started a new company called Big Briar. (The "Moog" name was not available at that time.) After a long legal battle, Bob finally secured the "Moog" name and changed the name of the company from Big Briar to Moog Music Inc. Mike Adams came on board as the President of Moog Music in 2002.

What's a control voltage?
Control voltages are the signals used in analog synthesers (and some effects) to cause changes in parameters. Those parameters could be pitch, timbre, volume, or others.
What's the difference between analog and digital sound?
We could write a book about that. When you watch a movie - you are seeing approximately 30 still pictures per second. Your eyes are fooled into seeing a continuous image. However, you can always tell the difference between the real thing and a movie of the real thing. This is similar to digital audio, where sound is chopped up into samples (instantaneous numerical representations of the strength of a sound). When the samples are reassembled by digital to analog converters, a sound can be heard as a representation of the original sound - today with quite good results.
The Moog name - is it pronouned Mooooooog or Mogue?
