Dorit Chrysler's "Hands Off" Theremin Performance At Re:Happening 2015

Operating from 1933 through 1957, Black Mountain College was one of the leading experimental art schools in America.  Modeled after the interdisciplinary curriculum of the Bauhaus, Black Mountain College attracted such notable students and teachers as R. Buckminster Fuller, Elaine and Willem de Kooning and Robert Rauschenberg.  John Cage experimented with his first "Musical Happenings" at the college as early as 1952.

"The Freedom Of Making Your Own": An Interview With Marcel Dettmann

At the age of 14, German DJ/producer Marcel Dettmann was introduced to electronic music via friends whom he planned on attending parties with in Berlin.  3 years later he was spinning vinyl and by 1999, Dettmann was resident DJ at Berlin's legendary Ostgut (and later Berghain) club.  Since then, Marcel has created hi-profile remixes, produced his own records, and founded his own label.
