Science Museum Hosts 'Oramics To Electronica' Exhibit

London's Science Museum is currently exploring the history of electronic music through their exhibit Oramics To Electronica.  The exhibition centers around the Electronic Music Studios (EMS), The BBC Radiophonic Workshop and Radiophonic visionary Daphne Oram's home studio; highlighting the new machines that were expanding the sonic palette of our time.  Beginning with the avant-garde electronic movement that blurred the lines between musician and technician, Oramics To Electronica celebrates the experimentation that soon became part of the mainstream through programs like Dr. Who and artists such as Wendy Carlos.

Oramics To Electronica is free and open to the public at the Science Museum through Dec. 31st, 2014.

Once I thought about things like: why such information is for free here? Because when you write a book then at least on selling a book you get a percentage. Thank you and good luck on informing people more about it! Guitar Center
