Coming Soon: The Moogerfooger MF-108M Cluster Flux™

The Ultimate Moogerfooger®  for Flange, Chorus and Vibrato —

Asheville, North Carolina • June 17, 2011—Moog Music, a North Carolina-based electronic musical instrument manufacturer, today announced the release of the MF-108M Cluster Flux, the newest addition to the MoogerFooger line of analog effects.   The Cluster Flux is an ultra-powerful and flexible, sound-sculpting tool for use live or in the studio.

Expansive functionality combined with warm, analog sound come from the state-of-the-art all-analog audio signal path. Musical, flexible, playable, and durable, the Cluster Flux is capable of providing classic flanging, chorusing, and vibrato effects, but is also capable of a much wider range of modulated delay line effects than traditional stomp boxes in this class due to the wide range of the front panel controls, the multi-waveform LFO, as well as CV and MIDI Control.

The MF-108M Cluster Flux is more powerful than traditional chorus/flange effects offering musicians the  added modulation of multiple LFO waveforms: Sine, Triangle, Square, Saw, Ramp and Random, to create many kinds of new modulated BBD Delay effects. MIDI IN allows control of Delay Time, Range, Feedback, Output Level, LFO Waveform, LFO Rate, LFO Amount and Mix.  Additional features include:

·      The ability to sync LFO modulation effects to MIDI Clock or Tap Tempo

·      The ability to control Delay Time w/ MIDI Notes for “tuned” flanger comb-filter effects.

·      CV control of Delay Time, LFO Rate, Feedback, LFO Amount, Mix

·      Send/Return Insert for external processing of BBD feedback loop

·      A second output configurable via DIP switches for different types of stereo outputs

·      A Spillover mode allows for creation of interesting drones and other feedback effects.

·      Control of Delay Time, Mix and Feedback in Chorus setting for extreme chorus effects

·      Bi-polar feedback design creates Flanging effects w/ even or odd harmonic emphasis.

·      Wide-ranging LFO Rate for very slow to audio rate modulation

·      Input/Output Level controls for use w/ wide range of devices.

Availability and pricing:  The Cluster Flux MF-108M will be available at Moog Dealers worldwide in Q3 2011 for a sell price of $599.00

I thought it was going to be some boring old post, but it really compensated for my time. I will post a link to this page on my blog. I am sure my visitors will find that very and home insurance
a friend of mine had one of these like a year ago, i thought it was pretty cool
Mod Zero? Come on man.
The Jack Deville Mod Zero does true analog TZF that rivals the Foxrox and it's only $250!
rack in vertical position??
I could never understand the Moogerfoogers. Are they designed as a guitar or keyboard accessory. They have knobs for tweeking but are designed to sit on the floor out of reach. Very awkward to use standing up or rack mount because of the foot switch on the bottom half. I am sorry Moog but I just do not understand your thinking with this product. They would be a great add-on to my Voyager but where do I mount them?
No comment on the thru zero flanging question? Curious how this stacks up against the Foxrox TZF, which is a little more than half the price of the mf-108.
Looking forward to using the new member of the MF family.
When will we hear a demo of this? Looks really tasty.
Get Fluxed, fooger!!!
Hi Andrew. I presume the delay time on this is going to be inaudibly short! Chorus and Flange effects are generally created by mixing the original signal with a slightly delayed signal (like 1 - 10ms) - too short to be audible, but long enough to mess with the phase of the signals in beautiful ways. So I think this is pretty much going to be a chorus / flange effect with its guts - what normally is hidden on the inside - on the outside. Hope this is helpful, we'll just have to wait until they tell us more!
well done guys, that pedal looks really really awesome, can't wait to get my hands on one! haven't ever felt so justifiably and rationally excited about a piece of gear ever before. This will do pretty much the only thing (“tuned” flanger) that i go to software for!! you guys are the best
Post Manual please.
Can't wait to do a demo for my YouTube channel... Seems like a TC Electronic Stereo Chorus+ TIMES INFINITY.
What the flux?
Wow.. I've got to have this!
So do I just sell my soul now? Thank you MOOG, Anyone want to buy my OBXA so I can fund more MOOG Products?
What's the max delay time?
Great name. I can't wait to hear it.
Just pre-ordered from Sweetwater. $559.00 I think. I have a nice piece of electrical tape ready to go :)
I agree 100% with dingebre ! And with his conclusion :-)
I´m looking forward to hear the Flanger Sounds!
Yes, does it do thru zero flanging?
will there be a LFO CV out?????
pre-ordered. let me hear that thing.
Wasn't MoogerFooger bad enough?
Aside from the juvenile name (c'mon guys, we're not 12 year olds in a junior high locker room are we?) it looks like a very interesting module. I'll buy it but I'll probably have to put tape over the name, sigh...
Want!! Can't wait to hear the S&H demos!
is this a split signal path for thru zero flanging?
HA! Awesome. Now I want to hear a demo.
