Today we say goodbye to a hip-hop legend, founding member of the Beastie Boys, Adam Yauch.

As the Bob Moog Foundation noted, "Known for looking forward and backward, the Beastie Boys were among the first to embrace the phat analog Moog sound in the late 80s and early 90s at a point when the world of synthesis had gone largely digital."
