50 Years Of Moog

The Moog synthesizer turns 50 this year, and MusicTech.net is celebrating with a series of articles focusing on the iconic instrument.

In this issue, MusicTech.net speaks with Bernie Krause, who along with Paul Beaver, played a major role in introducing the newly created Moog synthesizer to the masses during the late 60's and early 70's.  Beaver & Krause contributed to 135 feature films and nearly 250 albums with their Moog Series III Synthesizer, introducing the instrument to the Monkees, The Byrds, The Doors and The Beatles.
