The Holophrase entry is next level! It seems that the archetypes suggested in their Joderowsky-esque video showcases a unique interpretation of halloween, reviving the proposed, pagan-indigenous founding of the holiday. The music track even seems to sync with events in the video, as the inherently stream-of-consciousness interface of the theremin is embraced as the wandering lead voice of the minimalistic circuitbent soundscape. Imagine what these artists could do with a Minitaur!
I really like #2, the ouija board and the editing that went along with it really made the video attractive. my vote goes for The Spirit of Halloween
#2 THE SPIRIT OF HALLOWEEN FOR SURE!
I agree. Based on originality, creativity, and best embodiment of Halloween my vote goes to #3.
Holophrase should win this. Musical context in which the theremin is used in their video is both original and unique. aesthetically they put more effort and artistry into their entry. Main character reminds me of Clara Rockmore; paying tribute to the roots of the theremin as well as the spirit of Halloween.
Holophrase has my vote!!! Here is a masterfully done presentation featuring the essence of Halloween put to music using the Theramin. Completely far above all other entries in creativity!!!
I vote for Zombie Children Attack, both fun and spooky!
I vote #1 Zombie Children Attack :)
I vote for "Zombie Children Attack!"
#3 holophase is very creepy but I vote for Zombie Children #1
The music in Spirit of Halloween makes my heart race.....very creepy with the Oija Board. And that devil playing the theramin is perfect.
All three are great, but I vote for entry #2, the Spirit of Halloween
I vote for #1, "Zombie Children Attack". All three finalists were well done and eminently creepy, but I though #1 made the best musical use of the theramin.
