Darryl Kubian Plays EW Pro in concert

Darryl Kubian plays EW Pro in concert
Darryl talks about using his EW Pro Theremin in concert:

“The Maestro actually staged the encore very dramatically. Our orchestra spokesman, Robert Wagner, prepped the audience at the beginning of the concert by telling them something special was going to happen. He told the audience that they were going to hear an instrument (Moog EW Pro) that has never played with the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra (NJSO) before.

During the encore, I launched into a short demo with the Theremin and mentioned Moog as the manufacturer. People were impressed when I showed them the front panel. ‘It looks like Elegant Retro’, someone said to me later.

We played the Cantilena from HECTOR VILLA-LOBOS’s Bachiannas brasileiras No.5. The performance went really well.

After the concert people rushed the stage to get a closer look and asked questions about the Theremin and Moog.

I've got a few more concerts lined up this month including playing a
piece by John Corriglano 'The Mannheim Rocket' at Carnegie Hall.”

Thanks for the support, Darryl!
