question: filter still 904A design? Audio in?

Post by dr_floyd » Sun Dec 14, 2008 2:01 pm

Even if not in the official release, could there be a provision to add an audio in jack to the 904A type low pass filter? Seems like it could be a nice flavor to go with MF101.
Also, is Axel Hartmann/Design Box doing the interface work? Just curious. I thought they did a fantastic job with the Phatty (and possibly the MP-201 - although I don't know for sure if they worked on that).

I have placed my order for the Taurus 3!

Well the 904A had what, 3 CV inputs and an Audio input and an output?

Put a Osc out filt in TRS jack on there like on the Voyager and get to steppin! THat will be some killer bass for sure!

I'd really like to see an audio-in jack as well. Seems like it shouldn't add much to the cost of the whole unit.

I think that would be cheating to process just anything through those specially overdriven filters lololol.

I know Id be running all kinds of stuff through that, especially if we had the option of turning the OSCs OFF!

Axel Hartmann is doing the visual design of the new Taurus, and it will have an audio input to the filter.

Cheers,

Amos

That's good news. I like Hartmann's work and I'm glad to hear that work is progressing.

Oh hell yes!

I think it would be lame to have that speciallyoverdriven filter and not be able to utilize it.

Imagine what its going to do to the rest of our synths.

I can't wait to get this puppy.
