New Moog Guitar?

Post by dr_floyd » Mon Mar 31, 2008 10:10 pm

Does anyone have information about the new Moog Guitar that is being sneak-peeked on the Moogmusic.com opener page?

Sounds beautiful, seems to be using some "sustainiac" type tech but with some additional twists.

Some screen grab links from Matrixsynth:

Hmmm. So you've got my attention for a second time!

Is all the processing contained in the guitar? Analog?
Might there be a bass guitar version?

Certainly intrigued. Thanks Amos.

This is great news...if your a guitar player. I only hope Moog is going down the path that Arp took with the Arp Avatar the product that helped
sink the company. I would have really liked to have seen a polyphonic moog or a modular synth. I wish them luck :D

I think Moog did have some circuits in a Gibson line of guitars back in the day . Ive seen it on Ebay now and then.

Id just settle for a Liberation, and I wish that they woudl remake that.

Moog Accordion!

"PolkaMoog"
Bellows would produce a voltage, floor based control panel and expression pedal.

There was the Gibson RD in the late 70s, at the same time as the Lab Series amps.
