Any Elektron Sidstation owners here?

Postby pengo » Thu Sep 09, 2004 3:46 pm

Hello everyone!

I'm the proud owner of a Sidstation and I'm looking towards purchasing a Voyager (Anniversary) in the next month or so...Anyone have any good experiences inter-twining these two synths and layering their respective tones? What sequencers are you running with them?

Cheers!

yeah have both they work great together. espececially when running the sid into the voyager's in and using the voyager's vca to help with the noise issue. the voyager's filter is great with it too, but it doesn't have the same character as the sid's. In combination they make a great digilog.

Hi
I´ve got a sidstation and a voyager (ae) too and I think this is a great combination.
The only problem I´m still fighting with, is that the voyager is sending cc-messages always when you turn any knob and the sidstation is receiving them.
e.g. you dialed in a nice sound at the sidstation and you want to give it some extra treatment with the filter of the voyager (and a VCO from the Voyager is
playing too) as soon as you turn the filter knob of the moog the sidstations sound is changed randomly (there is a logic behind this but you have to analize which parameter is changed by which controler of the moog).
I don´t have any midifilter so…I would like to have a software midifilter as a
plugin, ( I´m working with ableton life on apple and mpc2000)
There should be a way to switch this cc thing off in the voyager itself.
how do you do it elirentz?
cheers
