Hi,
is there any way to get Animoog to respond to MIDI volume continuous controller message #7 ?
Animoog is really excellent sounding and I want to incorporate it into my live guitar synth setup and not being able to control the volume from a MIDI knob on my instrument is a big hurdle.
Thanks,
AL
Animoog MIDI Volume cc # 7
Re: Animoog MIDI Volume cc # 7
Despite the many questions posted here, I still don't understand how to make the Animoog respond to CC messages.
In my setup it responds fine to note on/off, fine to Time Clock sent by the Korg M3, but nothing more than that.
Coming to your question, it doesn't respond to CC#7, and it doesn't respond to CC#136 (Master Volume).
My other MIDI devices (Korg M3, MicroKorg and Karma) all respond to CC commands from the Axiom, 7 and 136 included.
Am I wrong somewhere?
Is there a MIDI implementation doc?
Nick

Hi Nick,
The few midi cc sources are listed on page 4 of the manual...they are called control sources and they need to be routed to modulate parameter values.
Good luck,
Al

Hi Al,
thanks a lot for the hint.
I didn't get that section of the manual at the first read.
I read with more attention, made a couple of tests, and it works perfectly!
Thanks a lot again!
